Winter

Our winter season begins with the traditional Christmas Stroll, which takes place the first weekend after the Thanksgiving holiday.  The many natural lighted and decorated trees that line Main, Federal and Centre streets set the tone for this old fashioned holiday celebration.  Victorian garbed carolers, costumed bellringers and Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving by Coast Guard cutter add to festivities.  Nantucket Noel continues through Christmas with great sales and a winding down of the Nantucket season.

Winter on Nantucket can be mild, clear and exquisitely peaceful.  It is a wonderful time to come to the Brass Lantern for a real getaway from your workaday world – and great value!
