Main Inn Rooms at Our Massachusetts Bed and Breakfast
Built in 1838, the Main Inn at the Brass Lantern offers seven guestrooms with en-suite baths and a two-bedroom Family Suite. All guestrooms offer either full or queen beds and our outstanding amenities. Main Inn rooms feature hardwood or antique pine floors, large bright windows, and are furnished with either canopy or four-poster beds, oriental rugs, antiques, and traditional-style furniture. The two-bedroom Family Suite includes a sky-lighted sitting room and large bath.
A Unique Alternative to Nantucket, MA Hotels
Thanks to information gathered at the Nantucket Historical Association, just down the street from the Brass Lantern, the rooms in the Main Inn are named after whaling ships that left Nantucket during the period that the Inn was built. Choose from Barclay, Mary Mitchell, Harmony, Zenas Coffin, Empire, Elizabeth Starbuck, or the Family Suite - Atlantic and Aurora.

The Brant Point Room at the top of the Inn has a sweeping view of Nantucket Harbor and the Brant Point lighthouse. From this room, you can watch the boats and ferries arriving and departing the Island throughout the day.
